Crazy School: escape game, action game… what exactly is it?
Crazy School is much more than just an escape game! Here, you move: climb walls, dodge lasers, recreate iconic movie scenes on stage… The atmosphere is that of an immersive action game, where physical challenges take center stage over pure puzzle-solving. Like in an escape game, some challenges require observation and strategy but most of the experience is all about action and movement.
The result? An activity accessible from ages 3–4 and up, just as fun for kids as it is for adults. And if you want to raise the difficulty level, we’ve got settings for that too.
What age can children start playing at Crazy School?
Children can join from around 3–4 years old, depending on the child, and as soon as they are attending school. The pace of the experience is designed to match younger children’s attention span (including preschoolers): they switch rooms every 20 minutes and never have time to get bored!
Can we come with a baby or a toddler?
Yes, babies and toddlers are welcome and can join free of charge. Baby chairs are available, and the more abstract rooms include toys to keep little ones entertained. Some activities such as Ombroglio or the optical illusion art challenges can even involve them too!
What is the minimum number of players required to book? Can you play as a pair?
Bookings start from 3 paying participants.
For larger groups including team buildings, school trips, birthday parties, and other events Crazy School can accommodate up to 200 people.
Do you need to book in advance to visit Crazy School?
Yes, Crazy School operates by reservation only. This allows us to prepare your personalized experience in advance and guarantee the best possible visit. You can book directly online in just a few clicks!
Is Crazy School physical? Do you need to be fit?
No need to be an athlete! Crazy School combines physical games and puzzle-solving challenges, with an activity level accessible to everyone. Some challenges require a bit of agility (climbing, laser rooms, etc.), but they remain fun and suitable for the vast majority of participants. The goal is to have fun not to work out!
Can children play on their own at Crazy School? Is there a maximum age to play?
Children must be accompanied by an adult. In fact, that’s the whole idea: Crazy School is designed so parents and children truly play together, not just side by side. It’s a family activity where adults have just as much fun as the kids we promise!
And there’s no maximum age to play at Crazy School! We welcome everyone, from children aged 3–4 and up to seniors. The challenges are varied and adaptable, making it the perfect intergenerational activity. In fact, some of our best players are over 70 years old.
How do the Crazy School experiences work?
The Crazy Professor briefs you and starts the game and when the bell rings, the action begins! You’ll take on 4 fast-paced challenges combining puzzle-solving, creativity, agility, skill, and courage. Some challenges require focus and strategy, while others will have you moving, climbing, or surprising your teammates.
With every challenge, you earn points with one goal in mind: graduating from Crazy School! A unique action game experience accessible to everyone, just minutes from Annecy, Annemasse, and Geneva.
Can we come back without replaying the same games?
Yes! Our experiences offer more than 8 hours of different challenges in total meaning up to 4 separate 2-hour visits with a different program each time. Simply book using the same account, and our system will automatically remember your previous sessions.
Can we replay a challenge we loved?
Yes ! without getting bored! With your permission, our systems remember your previous objectives and offer you new variations and challenges each time you visit.
Can you organize a children’s or adult birthday party at Crazy School?
Absolutely! Crazy School is a unique and original birthday party idea for both kids and adults. The team-based format, varied games, and fun atmosphere make it a truly memorable experience near Annecy, Annemasse, and Geneva. You can book a special birthday experience tailored to the age and level of your group.
How far in advance should I book a birthday party at Crazy School?
We recommend booking at least 1 month in advance or a minimum of 15 days ahead to guarantee your preferred rooms and allow us to organize the best possible experience for your group. Weekend slots fill up quickly, especially during school holidays!
Can we arrive early to set up the birthday room?
Yes! You can arrive 10 minutes before your time slot to decorate the room and prepare the birthday snacks at your own pace.
Can we bring our own food for the birthday party?
Absolutely! You are free to bring your own cake, snacks, and tableware. We also offer a birthday package if you’d rather leave everything to us just ask for details when booking.
Which activities are best suited for a birthday party at Crazy School?
Some challenges are especially popular for birthday parties: Astrosolar, Nataball, Biocrado, Vieux François, and Exmen are always a hit! They combine fun, energy, and teamwork exactly what you need for a memorable celebration. Let us know when booking, and we’ll create the perfect birthday experience for your group.
Is Crazy School accessible for wheelchair users?
The vast majority of our challenges can be played in a wheelchair. However, 6 out of our 18 games require physical agility or take place in complete darkness, making them unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility. After booking, you can review your selected challenges and replace any that are not suitable for your group. If you are unsure, feel free to contact us directly.
Can pregnant women take part in Crazy School activities?
Yes! Most of our challenges are perfectly suitable for pregnant women. Some more physical games (such as climbing or dark-room challenges) are best avoided, but they can easily be replaced with other adapted activities. Contact us before booking, and we’ll create a customized experience for you with complete peace of mind.
Can we bring a stroller? Is there a baby changing area?
Yes to both! Strollers are welcome, and a baby changing area is available on site. You can come with the whole family — even the little ones — without worrying about the logistics. We’ve thought of everything!
